The scholarship program is established for students of the Vaganova Academy of the Russina Ballet (Federal State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education).
The scholarship program (further – the Scholarship) is conceived with the aim to provide incentive and social support for young talented people – students of the Vaganova Academy – for their aspiration to achieve knowledge and professional training in the sphere of the art of dance as well as creative initiative, social activity, and setting an individual model for the preservation and enhancement of values and traditions of the Russian ballet school.
The scholarship is annual and is paid during two terms (one academic year). Scholarship holders get payments monthly from October till June based on the results of the competition selection.
The scholarship can be granted to day-time student of the Vaganova Academy, who study on the state-financed basis, achieve high results in studies and creative work in the corresponding course of study, and have good references and characteristics from the Academy teaching and administration staff.
In 2007-2008 the scholarship program is supported by the BDO Unicon North-West Company.
We invite everybody who would like to support young talents in the sphere of the ballet art to become our partners and participate in the financing of the scholarship program.
